Tantra Yoga as a Spiritual Practice
Tantra Yoga is an ancient system of spiritual practice that originated in India and spread to Tibet and Southeast Asia. Of all the spiritual paths on this planet, tantric teachings are unique, since they deal with energy or Shakti.
Unlike most spiritual paths who see the world as a place of transition or suffering, a testing ground to make us into better human being, Tantra sees reality as a source of power and as a part of the divine consciousness.
Ultimately Tantric teachings say that reality last (also called Shiva) and Shakti are one and the same thing.
The study of Tantra can be found in the traditional Tantric texts (ancient Indian texts called the Agamas). There you can see that Tantra explores fascinating fields such as astronomy, astrology, science of colors and sounds, the sacred dance, architecture, alternative therapies, spiritual realization, Kundalini, chakras and more.
Among all these fields and interests, tantric scholars also discovered the most powerful energy in the Universe and therefore in humans - sexual energy. Sex energy may be seen in action at all levels of reality, from the smallest atom to the largest galaxy. And human beings through tantric energy can pursue spiritual evolution.
From this study of tantra came revolutionary teachings about sex and spirituality. Tantra found sexuality can be transforming (through special techniques of Tantra and training) via a spiritual act. And through this conscious act of power, human beings can create and lead free and happy lives with spiritual development and even spiritual fulfillment.
The science of Tantra Yoga leads to human happiness, fulfillment, and pleasure beyond belief. Through tantric love-making, human beings can be miraculously cured and obtain the delights of the most amazing multi-orgasms - and ascend to the spiritual heights.
