Reiki and Consciousness

Reiki and Consciousness

One of the important aspects of Reiki is the consciousness level that is a part of the practice. When healing, it is important to change and follow the mindset and different levels of understanding. By doing this, it will allow several blocks to move from you and will allow for your consciousness to change through the flow of the universal energy.

Many say that when they practice Reiki, it has a consciousness of its own and knows where to go. In relation to this, it is important for one to become conscious of the energies that are inside so that they can become aware of where the universal energies need to go to in order to continue healing. When one becomes conscious of the energies that are blocked inside of a person as well as the energies that are available in the universe, there mind set will begin to change.

The other level of consciousness associated with Reiki is in the practice of the principles in every day life. By altering conscious modes through Reiki practice, it will allow one to be more aware and observant of daily happenings. The principles that are used in Reiki are used in order to awaken one's conscious state. These principles are related to things such as awareness and awakening the mind. This allows one to move away from negative energies, such as anxiety and anger.

One of the conscious levels that are associated with Reiki consciousness is in relation to the power of thought. Those involved in Reiki will often state that there is more power in thought and consciousness than there is in the actual saying of things. Because of this, Reiki is expected to awaken the consciousness so that the power of the thoughts will become part of the continuous practice of Reiki. This power of thought is then known to grab energies from the universe, either positive or negative. By having the right power of thought, it will help one to heal.

The conscious level also alters when you are using the Reiki method by a practitioner or class. When one goes through Reiki, they will often state that they are moved to a more relaxed state of mind. The stress and tension that was once apparent will become relieved. From this relaxed state, different energies are able to move into the consciousness, allowing one to move into a different conscious level.

The other way in which the consciousness changes in Reiki is by opening up different energy centers that are related to the consciousness. In the beginnings of Reiki, attunements are used to open the crown and third eye chakra, as well as the heart and lower chakra. When these are opened, it opens the consciousness to seeing universal energies.

The consciousness is an important aspect in the practice of Reiki for both allowing the body to open to the universal energies, and heal from the conscious thoughts that were blocking one's energies. By opening the consciousness to Reiki, it allows for a different set of thoughts to become dominant in one's life and practices.

Two Major Forces Of Tantric Yoga
Oct 19th, 2010 by Aldouspi

shiva

Tantra Yoga is based on the elements of human life: the male and the female. Tantra is represented by the pairing of the feminine and masculine which takes the form of Shakti and Shiva, the Hindu gods of Tantra. These gods manifest all levels of existence from the sub-atomic particle to the vast cosmos.

In our human world, Shakti and Shiva represent the female and male. In spirituality, Shakti is the energy force and Shiva is the mind.

The divine elements of ida and pingala is defined by Shiva and Shakti.

Ida is the consciousness and pingala on the other hand is life also known as prana. These elements are two polar energies that flow through our body in constant and opposite directions.

When these two dimensions meet, an explosion in mind, space and time happens. Each forces are balanced in a dynamic consciousness, if this happens.

Kundalini yoga is a form of tantric yoga for spiritual enlightenment. The kundalini rises up from the base of your spine to the crown of your skull. The crown of the skull is where the highest level of consciousness resides. The woman’s body meets its center for spiritual development.

The Mooladhara chakra is very well developed and can be easily awakened. For the male, the structure of the male body is congested because of the mooladhara chakra. It is not as simple to devlop as it is within the body of a woman.

In tantric yoga the body of the woman is the one who transports the energy thru its medium which is the male body.

Shiva is the instrument and Shakti is the creator.

In tantra, the woman is responsible for carrying the spiritual rituals. It is the female who conducts ceremonies and rituals. The woman will lead and the man will follow.

The trantra yoga routine is ideal for the woman's body. The chakra of tantra yoga will slowly, but constantly, lead you to a better holistic development. You should not give up easily, if you are new to discovering the chakras of tantric yoga, instead practice more. You will get the hang of it.

Make tantric yoga a part of your lifestyle and be consistent. Try working on those moves now.

What is Yoga
Aug 3rd, 2010 by Aldouspi

What is Yoga

Yoga, which means discipline, was developed in the year 300 by an Indian Hindu named Patanjali. Its purpose is to stretch the muscles, strengthen the body and increase concentration. It can also help you relax, if you have trouble doing that.

No wonder this ancient discipline has become popular among modern entertainers and athletes. Depending on who practices it, yoga can be simply a set of exercises or a total way of life.

Some who practice yoga, called yogis, try to use the discipline to reach a high level of consciousness. They respect certain abstentions (things not to do), such as not lying, stealing, being greedy or harming other people. They also practice certain observances (things to do), such as being clean, content, self-controlled, studious and devoted.

Physical control is also important in yoga. Yogis train themselves to take full, deep breaths. They consider breathing a life force, counting a lifespan not in years but in the number of breaths taken.

Unlike exercises that work only on strength, yoga also helps the body become flexible. As a result, some yoga exercises (called asanas) look a little strange, and you may think you need to be a human pretzel to do them. Not so. You just have to relax.

In yoga, you ease into stretches, never forcing yourself. The saying no pain--no gain simply does not apply. You do only the best you can at the moment, and at some later moment you will do more.

All yoga poses demand balance. And since you can't balance if you're thinking about last night's TV show, yoga also demands concentration. Learn to concentrate in yoga, and you will be better able to concentrate in baseball, tennis or even school.

Yoga exercises copy nature. Many yoga poses can be traced to the shapes of creatures, such as the cobra, cat, dog, tortoise, crab and eagle.

In the cobra pose, for example, you ask yourself, What would it feel like to be a cobra. You lie on your stomach with your forehead to the floor. As you inhale, you slowly roll your head back, supporting yourself with your hands. You hold that pose, then come down slowly, trying to move as a snake would move.

All yoga exercises promote strength and calmness. Each move's effects on a muscle, a gland or a nerve center are carefully thought out.

You can choose certain exercises to rid yourself of particular pains, such as back pain from back-packing or leg pain from jogging. Yoga can help condition you for skiing or help you control feelings of depression or fear.

Any good book on yoga will describe various asanas and tell how each works. You may even have done yoga exercises already. Ever done a handstand, or the wheel. Many exercise programs borrow from yoga.
