Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder? ? Healing Tantra That Embraces Your Beauty.

One of the principles of Tantra is acceptance, accepting the here and now, not darting off into the past or future, experiencing what is here, in this precise moment, now.  This is seen on many levels, especially when accepting ourselves and our own beauty.  Every person processes beauty, in the unique gifts and qualities they posses. Beauty is a vibration energy, and vital to understanding the divine within. Tantra is also concerned with being in the body and switching off the mind.

It’s true that an in a media obsessed modern society, that most people both men and women do not embrace or understand their own beauty. With the emphasis on purely the physical, we are not beautiful because we are not slim enough, because we are too old, because, because, because…the fact of the matter is, that you are perfect and beautiful exactly as you are! Ok you might have things that you’d like to change about yourself, but if you can truly accept your beauty and accept yourself, a magical and powerful healing can be achieved. Tantric massage seeks to help you tap into this and remember and celebrate ALL of you, to integrate all aspects of your being, working to move and spread your energy through out the body, that every part of you is beautiful and sacred, even the wobbly bits. Beauty is within; it is not an external substance or structure. It is a feeling, a vibration, a connection to the divine nature of the inner and outer world.

An effective way to do this is by using a mantra / meditation – do this now, or as soon as you get home and have a spare 15mins. Say it out loud and take a few min’s to reflect on how you feel afterwards, does anything come up for you?

With a tantric massage session, allowing this sensation of beauty to run through you allows this healing to take shape and form, learning to nurture this in yourself, allows you to see the beauty in others too.

Try looking at yourself in the mirror and telling yourself “I Love You.” Do this for at least 10mins, or if you can - 108 times every day for a week. Notice how you feel every day.

“I no longer wait to be perfect in order to love myself.

I accept myself exactly as I am, right here and now".

Namaste and greetings from all at The London Tantric Temple.
